Baby Gender - the results are out!

We did our detailed scan today to check on Baby's major organs to make sure it is developing well. Head was well formed and we got a peak of it swallowing amnoitic fluid~! So cute! It was moving quite actively and fists were clenched and punching in the air. It was an awesome sight!!!

The ultrasoundnist also checked baby's heart, legs, kidneys, spine, bone structure, fingers and toes and all were well formed ! Whew!!! then the verdict - is it a boy or girl....????

We were holding our breath when the checks were on the genitals... then we saw it... two small distinct lines parallel to the backside..... guess???

It's a girl!!!

Yeahh!! We were both so delighted!!! See her face and her hands waving at you?

Baby @ Week 19:
# Throughout baby's body, nerves are being coated with a fatty substance called myelin, which insulates the nerves so that impulses can flow smoothly.
# Scalp hair becomes apparent this week. It has sprouted and continues to grow.
# The milk teeth buds have already developed and over the next few days the buds for the permanent teeth will begin to form behind the milk teeth.
# If baby is female the uterus starts to develop. If you're having a girl, the vagina, uterus, and fallopian tubes are in place.
# If it's a boy, the genitals are distinct and recognizable.
# Your baby is swallowing amniotic fluid and his or her kidneys are making urine.
# Baby's size is around 6.02 inches (15.3cm) and 8.47 ounces (240gm) now.

And I weigh 75.2kg!!! 110 cm around my waist!
